Taylor's Lakeside bazaar (18.11)

Thank you all for dropping by our booth at Taylor's Lakeside! And thanks specially to those who contributed to the refugees under the UNHCR livelihood program, by purchasing accessories handmade by them. It was encouraging to see your support! All proceeds go to giving them a chance at making a living.
We had such a great time there - and the weather was lovely, too! We hope you had fun :D

Taylor's Lakeside bazaar this Friday (18.11)

We'll be helping to sell accessories (earrings, necklaces, bracelets) and woven songket yoga bags made by refugees under a livelihood program of UNHCR.
All proceeds give these men and women a hope for a new life.
Do come and support! Tell a friend and spread the word: share this post on Facebook.
Much thanks!

(note: this is only on this Friday, 11am onwards at the Seenamon booth (in front of Starbucks) at Taylor's Lakeside I love bazaar.)

Help Refugees Today!
Earn some brownie points this Christmas by purchasing unique gifts!
These handmade accessories are made by refugees under a livelihood project by UNHCR.
There are some 95,000 refugees and asylum-seekers registered with UNHCR in Malaysia, and they are unable to work legally in the country. Many skills-building projects are set up by UNHCR, NGOs and the refugee communities themselves to help them learn useful skills to sustain their livelihoods while they are in Malaysia.
By purchasing any of the products made by these refugees under this UNHCR project, you will be directly contributing towards the welfare of refugees and support to the project so that more refugees will be able to benefit in the long run.
For further questions, email MLSLUCDU@unhcr.org, or learn more about refugees at www.unhcr.org.my

These pictures were taken during Seenamon's last bazaar outing at Taylor's Lakeside campus. Our boothmate was bluandblak. We had a great time in the bright, airy campus, sipping Chatime seeing our customers. Thank you for all the love!
Both Seenamon and bluandblak are stocking and making more pretty things for our next i love bazaar outing. You're most welcome to join us there!
